In - Vest In the Simple

     How  many times have you all bought these items on  sale or just cause you thought they were the cutest piece on the rack? Retail therapy also puts a large whole in our wallets and then the advice we get to not spend more than what we earn goes out the window when we're inside a dam store! Well once again, or I might just be adding to the endless advice out there I have something that might just do the trick. A few questions that should be asked...When your out and about and see something that might be on trend rather than it actually works for you, don't buy it. When it's on sale and you "think" you might wear it eventually but cant really put an outfit in your head right there and then, don't buy it. If  like in my case you love the piece but the color just ain't right cause your not a "happy color" kinda girl, trust me don't buy it. Last one and most common sense, If you cant afford it Don't buy It!!! 

      So after those harsh words that all girls hate to hear... lets move on to this easy transitional outfit that can easily be dressed down or up with different shoes, and can become a cozy one with just the change of the shirt. This new cargo type of vest is my latest obsession I want to wear it with everything! The simplest of things make me the happiest of girls like this statement necklace that I got isn't it gypsy like? I'm in love... and it takes me from bland to chic in one step. What makes me feel the opposite Monday's with that said Happy 5 cups of  coffee day!!

Fall's Blues

This week definitely started out scorching hot! I am really wondering where is Fall in this mid Sept?? I am now nostalgic of scarfs and trips to the Getty and Observatory when the weather permits, walking through these places with hazelnut macchiato's in hand. For now I am trying to make the most of it. I am though caring my sadness with me, figuratively speaking of course. Fall Blues, this time around I wore Navy all over and mixed this color with camel the result I thought was very chic. Mixing pattern worries is a thing of the past! This blouse from Fashion Q is one of my favorites it fits me perfectly and its light enough that I can wear it in this heat. These shorts are so amazingly comfy and SO cool I am obsessed! So take advantage of this weather and make the most of summer clothes while you still can!

I have been pinning like crazy on Pinterest,  and I've noticed these really chic grungy looking black jeans all over the place and I'm absolutely loving the look. Any look from classic to kick ass, they're so versatile as we know black has always been. So Ive set out to recreate this look both ways and giving you an alternative on how to DIY ! So much easier than spending money for a few tears. So here ya go!

You will need:
                  ·Black jeans //old preferably
                  ·Scissors
                  ·Razor

                   Black Marker

Lets breath life again into this old pair..

 Mark down a line where your knee would hit that's where the slash will go

 A simple cut with scissors straight across will do...

 You can even add an extra depending on the style your going for...

 With a razor simply skim through the tears ...

So here we go styling this pair of old rugged jeans should be the fun part!

First I will stay between the lines of comfy and and  a little rad... pair your new deconstructed jeans with  oxfords, a cropped top and jean vest. Choose pieces that will make you look and feel cool. I paired mine with a cropped top since my pair of jeans are high waisted its a given, to keep it on the lighter side I added a vest  and there you go a cool casual #ootd

Second look is a bit more laid back not counting the chic pair of heels that I found sometime ago at Payless!! so get your most slinky black top and get a lacy bra and start strutting towards that hot date you may have...

From work to Lunching

     At times I've felt so utterly tired that my willingness to go from work to anything social related is very diminutive. I want to get into those comfy sweats as soon as possible, like the memes of that little cartoon taking her jeans off as soon as she enters the front door Yup that's me all right!
 As any mom may have it that's totally acceptable but to take a rest and jump into bed with a good read well that ...not so much. Kiddos see you and they automatically see a monkey bar, a tickle monster, anything except a dead beat Mum. So what to do in times of disparate need of an outing to the park or even lunch at the local pizza? Your best friends would be a neutral sandal or even flats and a possible hat to shield from that oh so lovely headache making sun. Change those killer (and i mean killer) high heel sandals and that work blazer for the oh so chic sandal and the classic fedora those never disappoint...

You may be asking what calls for such troublesome measures? Well a happy heart of the most important part of life ... He who holds your heart since the day he put pressure on your bladder...
